Is Communication One of Your Top 10 Priorities?

Business Issue

You have people who were great at their entry-level job, but now that they are team leaders they can't seem to motivate their team. Worse might be that you have seasoned managers who never learned to communicate well, and your customers and other employees suffer.

Some Perspective

If communication is not one of your top 10 organizational training issues, think again. Communication goes hand-in-hand with the very fabric of your business and can make or break high performance. Communication is foundational for the success of your managers and employees.

Based on numerous studies over the past 25-30 years, 85-93% of all communication is non-verbal and almost unconscious to most people. This reflects the importance of the attention we pay to our verbal communication. Often managers relate to employees without clearly communicating. Managers assume that what is communicated to the employee is fully understood when it is not.

No wonder so many misunderstandings exist in the workplace. Yet, we spend so little time improving communication.
