Draw a woman who inspires you to Live Your Dream.
It could be your mom, someone else you know personally,
a woman from history or even a fictional character.
You’ll be eligible to win a cash prize!
 

 Students – boys and girls - from kindergarten to 12th grade, are invited to participate in the Live Your Dream art contest and event.
 
Art Contest Rules
 
Students should draw a woman—past or present, real or fictional—who inspires them.
  • Drawing must convey why students think this woman is inspirational.
  • Work should be no larger than 11” by 14”.
  • Art must be hand-drawn (not computer generated).
  • On the back of the drawing, students must provide the woman’s name and a short explanation (50 words or less) about why she is inspirational.
  • Students must include their name, address, phone number, email address and grade on the back of their work.

Submission Guidelines 
 

Schools will collect all work from their students and send them in one package to:

Note to children: If your school is not participating, you can still enter the contest by sending your artwork to the above address. We'd love to hear from you!
 
NOTE: Submissions become the property of Soroptimist and will not be returned. Soroptimist reserves the right to use submissions on its websites and in its promotional materials.
 
Deadline
Entries must be postmarked by January 31, 2010
 
Judging
Profesional artists will judge the entries. Finalist entries will be posted on Soroptimist International of Coeur d'Alene  website.
 
There will be one student winner in each category: grades K-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12.  
 

Electronic copies of work will not be accepted
